DESCRIPTION:Sedona Breast Friends is a support group that offers strength\, encouragement\, and compassion to those faced with a diagnosis of breast cancer. Initiated in 2017 by breast surgeon\, Dr. Beth DuPree when she transitioned her practice to Sedona Arizona. SBF began with only a few individuals and today continues to grow despite the challenges of COVID and healthcare changes in Northern Arizona. \nThis is a sisterhood of support is currently facilitated Melanie Korzep Monthly with monthly meetings\, the SBF Facebook group\, and many shared Breast Friends events allow members to connect\, bond\, and heal. Breast Friends are women of vitality\, positive energy\, and inspiration. \nBreast cancer was the diagnosis that brought them together\, but what keeps Breast Friends connected is a genuine willingness to support and encourage one another through their diagnoses\, through their treatments\, to their survivorship and ultimately Thrivership. No woman given the diagnosis of breast cancer will ever have to take her journey alone as long as she has her Breast Friends. \nCottonwood\, AZ
