SUMMARY:Survivorship Clinical Trial with mindvybe™
DESCRIPTION:mindvybe™ is a general wellness technology that delivers non-invasive mild stimulation transcutaneously near the Vagus nerve at two points and to acupressure points on the earlobes using ultra-low electronic current (tVNS/APS). Prior studies and real-world evidence have shown that mindvybe™ safely improves feelings of wellbeing in a range of individuals from ages eight and up. This study explores mindvybe™’s efficacy on women and men who have well-being disturbances related to breast cancer and its treatment \nBreast cancer survivors who are within 5 years of treatment are eligible to be considered for the trial. The trial is being conducted at Redeemer Health Women’s center In Southampton\, PA . \n\nNoninvasive Vagus Nerve Stimulation with mindvybe™ “Wellness Technology”\nVoluntary participation for breast cancer survivors who have completed their breast cancer treatments within 5 years  ( surgery\, radiation and chemotherapy)\nPotential benefits- enhanced wellbeing\, release of fear from a cancer diagnosis and improved sleep\nCommitment\nIntake forms ( 30 minutes) remote\nConsent appointment ( 30 minutes) in person Southampton office\n5 days (within a 7 day period) 60 minute Vagus nerve stimulation sessions and measurement at first and last session HRV ( Heart Rate Variability) in person Southampton\nFollow up remote appointment forms ( ~30 minutes) at weeks\, 2\, 4\, 6\, and 12 weeks after the 5th session\n\nTrial site being conducted at annex office at the Comprehensive Breast Care office \n45 Second Street Pike \nTo register to see if you qualify for the for trial please email @  mindvybe@hcf444.org \n  \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:PA BCBS Bucks County Breast Friends General Meeting - RESCHEDULED TO 1/8/2026
DESCRIPTION:Bucks County Breast Friends is a support group that offers strength\, encouragement\, and compassion to those faced with a diagnosis of breast cancer. Initiated in 2007 by breast surgeon\, Dr. Beth DuPree\, BCBF began with only a few individuals. Today there are over 500 women who call themselves Breast Friends. \nThis dynamic sisterhood of support is currently co-facilitated by Trish Blake\, Michelle Brown\, Jill Indelicato\, and Kathy Gabriel. Monthly meetings\, the BCBF Facebook group\, and many shared Breast Friends events allow members to connect\, bond\, and heal. Breast Friends are women of vitality\, positive energy\, and inspiration\, many chairing or serving on such BCBF committees as Pay-It-Forward\, Celebrate Life\, Sewing Circle\, and Sunshine Committee. \nWhat brings Breast Friends together is a common diagnosis of breast cancer\, but what keeps Breast Friends connected is a genuine willingness to support and encourage one another through their diagnoses\, through their treatments\, and to their survivorship. And for Breast Friends it is not enough to just survive this diagnosis they support each other to thrive after breast cancer. Breast Friends become THRIVERS\, reclaiming lives of great health and healing. No woman given the diagnosis of breast cancer will ever have to take her journey alone as long as she has her Breast Friends.
