The art of driving a stick shift is a skill that has been lost for the most part as our lives have become so automated. Technological advancements are amazing in so many aspects of our lives but high tech is not always the best solution to a health issue. Unfortunately the automation of healthcare, with our pill for the ill mentality, is in many ways killing us. We focus on treating symptoms and are missing the opportunity to address the root cause of disease. Dr. Dupree believes that it is time to ‘shift gears’ in healthcare.
