mindvybe™ is a general wellness technology that delivers non-invasive mild stimulation transcutaneously near the Vagus nerve at two points and to acupressure points on the earlobes using ultra-low electronic current (tVNS/APS). Prior studies and real-world evidence have shown that mindvybe™ safely improves feelings of wellbeing in a range of individuals from ages eight and up. This study explores mindvybe™’s efficacy on women and men who have well-being disturbances related to breast cancer and its treatment
Breast cancer survivors who are within 5 years of treatment are eligible to be considered for the trial. The trial is being conducted at Redeemer Health Women’s center In Southampton, PA .
- Noninvasive Vagus Nerve Stimulation with mindvybe™ “Wellness Technology”
- Voluntary participation for breast cancer survivors who have completed their breast cancer treatments within 5 years ( surgery, radiation and chemotherapy)
- Potential benefits- enhanced wellbeing, release of fear from a cancer diagnosis and improved sleep
- Commitment
- Intake forms ( 30 minutes) remote
- Consent appointment ( 30 minutes) in person Southampton office
- 5 days (within a 7 day period) 60 minute Vagus nerve stimulation sessions and measurement at first and last session HRV ( Heart Rate Variability) in person Southampton
- Follow up remote appointment forms ( ~30 minutes) at weeks, 2, 4, 6, and 12 weeks after the 5th session
